17/8/2017 0 Comments Trips to swansea - top 8!I have returned to Swansea many times now, and I always end up in the same place... Mumbles (yes, it's as cute as it sounds) I LOVE Mumbles and everything it has to offer - it's got everything; beaches, bays, coves, hikes, a city centre, a spa, a pier, and AMAZING restaurants! This blog is going to include my favourite things to do, places to visit, and most delicious restaurants... enjoy! (this is quite a short blog, as I wanted to include loads of pictures) restaurants
beaches and bays Tor Bay This bay is super tricky to get to, and i'm sure the route through the woodland changes EVERY SINGLE TIME, but if you can find your way down there - you won't regret it! Just make sure you take water and some form of shade, as it's not a very shaded beach and is an absolute sun-trap! Caswell Bay A beach that gets waaaay bigger as the sea goes out. Opening up whole new ends of the beach, it uncovers hundreds of caves and coves - a great place for rockpooling! (they also serve amazing fish and chips) Rhossili Bay I always make sure I end up at this beach every time I visit, mostly for the amazing surf you can get there. The walk down to the beach is pretty tricky - especially with a surf board, but the more you do it, the more techniques you gain! things to do Worms Head
This is one of the most exciting, difficult, worth-it hikes I have ever done. And whilst it's pretty risky and dangerous, if you've got some decent walking boots, and a little backpack just incase you get stranded - you're good to go! The most difficult (and probably dangerous) part of the hike does offer you an alternative route which takes a tiny bit longer and misses out the amazing views... just incase being eaten by seals isn't your thing. The coastal walk I'm not sure the exact distance of this hike, but it's pretty long so be sure to take snacks and water! There are plenty of places to stop during the walk for refreshments, and so many beaches to see that you can't really access by car!

4/8/2017 0 Comments The liebster awardI am so grateful to have been tagged in such an exciting Tweet recently - it took me a while, but I have FINALLY got round to writing my Liebster Award Blog! Each of the other blogs created for this reason are so enjoyable to read, so it has made me super excited to get mine done. There are a few rules, but they help new bloggers all around the world! Thank you so much to Harriet Blogs for tagging me after sharing her totally awesome blog for The Liebster Award (your blog is great by the way!) EARLY WARNING : this blog is pretty text heavy, but i promise it's great fun! THE ALL-IMPORTANT QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS... 1. If you could be anywhere in the world, where would it be? Honestly, if it were possible to be anywhere and everywhere at once, that is my 100% honest answer to this question. BUT since this is not possible (yet?) if i could be anywhere in the world, it would have to be Hawaii! 2. Do you have a favourite book? This is a pretty tricky question because i love so many different books. My favourite would have to be Little Women, but Looking For Alaska is pretty high up there! 3. Cinema or theatre? When i was younger my nan used to buy me theatre tickets for my birthday and Christmas presents, so the theatre will always have a special place in my heart. Also, i'd rather be taken on a theatre date than a cinema date any day! (HINT) 4. Who is the last person you saw in concert? The last time i went to a concert was to see The 1975, i don't think i was ever interested in concerts before seeing them! 5. What are your top 3 TV series? Do Netflix shows count? My top three would include Pretty Little Liars, Gossip Girl, and Modern Family! 6. Do you have any hidden talents? If i have, they haven't come out of hiding yet... 7. A 4 day working week or 20% pay rise? I mean extra money would be nice, but a 4 day working week would be my choice! 8. If you could interview any 3 people for your blog, who would they be? If i could interview anyone in the world, the three people would include Elvis Presley, Bethany Hamilton, and Piers Morgan! 9. How do you like your Nandos? (I LOVE this question!) Please don't freak, but i'm not a fan. If i do go, I'll either get the chicken caesar salad (lemon and herb) or chips. Sorry. 10. If time and money were no object, whats one hobby you would like to try? I have always been interested in hot air ballooning (if that can be classed as a hobby?) 11. If you could sing/hear one song for the rest of your life, what would it be? Right, anyone who knows me knows that every song is "my favourite song" so this would kill me if it were to happen. BUT, the answer to your question is..... Somethin' Stupid, Robbie Williams and Nicole Kidman. Obviously. Now here are your questions!
